14. Aug. 八月：「要重視善因的培育，不要只期待美果的享受。」 It is better to place emphasis on cultivating good causes eather than expecting pleasant results. .— 聖嚴法師 Master Sheng Yen

15. Sept . 九月：「心不隨境，是禪定的功夫；心不離境，是智慧的作用。」 A mind undistracted by circumstance is the result of meditation a mind at one with circumstance is the result if wisdom.— 聖嚴法師 Master Sheng Yen

16. Oct. 十月：「自求心安就有平安，關懷他人就有幸福。」 To seek inner peace is to enjoy peace in life ； to care for others is to attain happiness .— 聖嚴法師 Master Sheng Yen

17. Nov . 十一月：「隨遇而安，隨緣奉獻。」 Stay at ease under all circumstances, and give whenever conditions allow. — 聖嚴法師 Master Sheng Yen
