Yes, they‟re all about Giving Thanks!

3. 1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give
thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ
Jesus concerning you.
 1Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of
all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and
giving of thanks, be made for all men;
 Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in
word or deed, do all in the name of the
Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the
Father by him.


4. Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor
foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not
convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
 Psalms 140:13 Surely the righteous shall
give thanks unto thy name: the upright
shall dwell in thy presence.

offer the sacrifice of praise to God



him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering
said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save
this stranger.

› A ratio of only 10%. Is that likely to increase or
decrease in our time?
› The one who returned was a Samaritan. Is it
possible that we might take God and what He
does for us for granted?
› Jesus expected that those who were healed
would return to thank.

› Pride
› Selfishness
› Greed/ Covetousness
› Does not take time to introspect
› High Expectations
› Focus on tragedies
› Focus on drama
› Forgetfulness

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things
are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there
be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
Psalms 103: 1,2 - Bless the LORD, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
