2. Here’s a list of what you need...
You need toppings, colours and cupcake cases
• 12 cupcake cases in whichever style you like
• Food colour (choose fun colours for the
cupcake and the icing)
• A pretty topping like chopped fruit, chocolate
chips or sweeties

3. White chocolate cupcake mixture
Here are the ingredients for the cupcakes
• 175g slightly salted and softened butter
• 350g icing sugar
• 2 tbsp water
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• a bag of white chocolate chips

4. Follow these steps for the perfect white chocolate cupcakes
(part 1)
•This recipe will make 12 medium sized cupcakes
•Preheat the oven to gas mark 5/190 degrees/375 farenheit and pre-fill a 12-hole
muffin tray with your cupcake cases
•In a bowl or electric mixer, cream the caster sugar and butter until the consistency is
very light and fluffy
•The next step is to add the beaten eggs and your vanilla extract for flavour

5. Mixing the cupcake batter (part 2)
• Sift the flour into the bowl and then add it into the mixture with a folding action
• Stir in your white chocolate chips
• You’ll know the mixture is ready to bake when it’s soft enough to drop off the
spoon.
• If it’s the mixture is a bit dry at this stage you can add milk.

6. Baking and cooling (part 3)
• Bake for 12 to 20 minutes until the cupcakes are a beautiful golden brown.
• Spoon the mixture into the cupcake cases – filling only 2/3 of the case with
mixture.
• Leave the cupcakes to cool for a few minutes and then move them to a wire
cooling rack. Allow the cakes to cool completely before you begin to decorate
them.

7. Once you know the basic recipe you can
