SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

    CONTENTS PAGE
I STARTED WITH AN A3 CANVAS, THEN ROTATED IT TO MAKE A DOUBLE
PAGE CONTENTS. I THEN SELECTED AND COLOUR FILLED A BANNER AT THE
                              TOP.
I THEN ADDED A INDICATOR IN THE TOP LEFT HAND CORNER, THAT
I JUST HIGHLIGHTED AND COPIED FROM MY MASTHEAD.
I GOT THE FONT FOR CONTENTS PAGE OFF DAFONT.COM AND
THEN COLOURED IN THE OUTLINE WHITE SO IT STOOD OUT.
I ADDED ALL MY PICTURES TO THE MIDDLE, THAT I’D CUT OUT FROM THE ORIGINAL
PICTURES I’D TAKEN AND THEY ARE ALL IN 5 SEPERATE LAYERS ON TOP OF
EACHOTHER . EACH PICTURE HAS A FAINT OUTERGLOW TO SMOOTH OUT ANY
ROUGH EDGES FROM THE EDITING I DID BEFORE AND A FEW OF THE PICTURES
HAVE A BOLD GLOW TO STAND OUT.
I COPIED AND PASTED MY BIG CONTENTS BANNER REPEATEDLY TO MAKE THE SMALLER BANNER
AND BOXES THAT ARE GOING TO SEPARATE THE TEXT ON THE PAGE. FOR THE BOX AT THE
BOTTOM, I LOWERED THE OPACITY BECAUSE A SOLID BOX LOOKED TOO MUCH.
ALL THE TEXT I ADDED IS THE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME. I DID LOWERCASE FOR THE TITLE OF
THE ARTICLE AND CAPITAL FOR THE DESCRIPTION. FOR ‘FEATURES’, ‘REGULARS’ AND ‘REPTILIA
REVIEWS’, THEY ARE COLOURED IN BLACK BUT HAVE A WHITE OUTERGLOW SO THEY STAND
OUT. ALL OF THE TEXT HAS AN OUTERGLOW BUT A VERY SMALL ONE, JUST TO MAKE THE TEXT
                                       BOLD.

THESE TEXTS HAVE MORE OF AN OUTERGLOW AND A DROPSHADOW
TO THEM AS THEY ARE DIFFERENT DESCRIPTIONS TO THE OTHERS. I
WANTED THEM TO STAND OUT MORE.
I ADDED A SUSCRIBE BOX AT THE BOTTOM LEFT OF THE PAGE. FOR THIS THE TEXT IS AGAIN THE
SAME FONT AS BEFORE BUT ITALIC AND WITH A HEAVY OUTERGLOW TO STAND OUT. I PRINT
SCREENED MY COVER AND MADE IT SMALLER TO FIT IN HERE. THE ICONS I GOT FROM THE
INTERNET BUT THEN SELECTED THE ORIGNAL COLOUR, DELETED IT AND PUT IN THIS LIZARD SKIN
TO GO WITH THE NAME OF THE MAGAZINE- REPTILIA.
