A bounty hunter captures fugitives yet others for a financial reward. Technically, there's absolutely no
such thing as a bounty hunter in the state of Florida, and it's also illegal to do this kind of act. The

be qualified to become a licensed bail bondsman in Florida.

Visit the Florida Security Agents Association (see Resources) internet site to enroll in its 120-hour
course. The classes often take 2 to 3 weeks to complete. During this time you will receive training
from police force and bail bond agent instructors. At the time of 2011, the course fee was $150.

Join the correspondence course at the University of Florida, the INS 3 --- Bail & Bail Bond Insurance -
-- at 352-392-1711. At the time of 2011, the fee for the course and course manual was $300. You are
able to take levels one and two separately or at precisely the same time, depending on your
preference.

Obtain a Limited Surety Agent Temporary license from the Department of Financial Services (see
