Azonto in Ghana and how it is becoming global.
Azonto is an essential part of Accra's bustling fishing communities.
It is a dance to communicate occupations and comical situations. It
is one of the few African dances to become global.

Task
In groups you are going to choreograph a short Azonto
dance to a piece of music. Link to Azonto Music for dance
Learning Outcomes:
All Students: Create an Azonto dance to a piece of music. Include 1-2 movements
that show an occupation.
Most Students: Choreograph an Azonto dance to include hip movements and
knee bending. You will mimic 4-5 different occupations.
Some Students: Choreograph a dance that is typical of Azonto technique and
show more complex movement. Include a movement to communicate a comical
situation and smile throughout!
