Amazing Indochina Adventure Package Tour
Tour Overview:
In this special adventure tour, you have a
chance to reach the Indochina Summit of
Fansifan and discover the mountain beauty of
Lao and Cambodia. At 3143m Mt. Fan Si Pan
is the highest peak in entire Indochina
peninsula. This remote trek provides plenty to
see and absorb, from the scattered rocks
inscribed with drawings and designs of
unknown origin, to the French influenced hill
retreat town of Sapa with its minority groups,
beautiful villas and cherry forests. Our trek to
the top of Mt. Fan Si Pan is challenging and will be fully supported every step of the way
by our guides, porters and cooks who's local knowledge and understanding of the
different hill-tribe cultures we pass along the way will add to the uniqueness of this
exhilarating journey. Then we head to Laos for trekking. The trek is aimed to the Nam Ha
National Protected Area, an ASEAN Heritage Site. The trek takes us through different
villages of the Lanten, the Khmu and the Akha people who will share with us their
knowledge of fauna and flora of the protected forest. They also share with us their unique
culture. The forest camp will give you a special jungle experience. The last destination is
Siem Reap in Cambodia. You will discover Angkor Temple by Quad. Quads are the very
special transports suiting the muddy roads in countryside. With this trip, you will
discover the main part of Cambodia with this special one. On the way, sometimes we
stop at any pots that make you impressive, see local people lives, and see how they live.

Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
We pick you up in Noi Bai International Aiport and transfer to hotel in Hanoi. You check
in and enjoy the time in the Capital of Vietnam.
Night 1: After dinner, our guide and bus pick you up at your hotel and transfer to the train
to Lao Cai Station. Our guide will do everything to make your check in easily and
comfortably.
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa, Fan Si Pan Peak conquering (B, L, D)
Arrive in Lao Cai station in early morning, you are picked up and transferred to hotel in
Sapa. After breakfast, the bus will take you to Ton Station which belongs to Hoang Lien
Son natural reservation center at the height of 1,800m above sea level. You will follow
the forest path with small bamboo trees along to start your conquering over Fan Si Pan
Peak. Stop for a picnic lunch then continue your trip. At 17h00 you will stop for
camping, firing and stay overnight in small tents at the height of 2,100m.
Day 3: Keep going up to Fan Si Pan Summit (B, L, D)
6h30 am: After breakfast, we will continue our trip to conquer Fan Si Pan Peak (3143m).
10h30 am: You will reach the top of Fan Si Pan Peak, taking photographs and celebrating
your victory. After that, you will come back to the height of 2,800m for lunch. In the
afternoon, we will follow the path down for camping, having dinner and stay overnight at
the height of 2,200 m. Bravo, you have conquered the Fan Si Pan Peak. Fan Si Pan
Climbing
Day 4: Fan Si Pan - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast, leave Fan Si Pan, you will come back to Sapa by Sin Chai road. The car
will take you from Sin Chai to Sapa at 13h00. Have lunch and take a rest, shower in Sapa
and foot massage at the hotel. Have dinner. Our tour guide will take you to the train back
to Hanoi. (SP4 21h00)

Day 5: Arrive in Hanoi – Fly to Luang Prabang (B)
Arrive in Hanoi Station at around 5h30. Be picked up and transfer to your hotel for early
check in to have a shower, breakfast. You spend your own time until transfer to airport
for flight to Luang Prabang, Laos. Our guide and driver pick you up at airport and go to
the hotel. You relax and entertained by yourself. You overnight in hotel.
Day 6: Luang Prabang – Luang Namtha (B)
After breakfast in hotel, you start a driving a long way of 308 km from Luang Prabang to
Luang Namtha. You have lunch on the way and approach Luang Nam Tha in late
afternoon. You overnight in hotel in Luang Namtha.
Day 7: Luang Namtha - Ban Don Sai Village - Khmu forest camp (L, D)
Meet at your hotel at 8:00 am and drive north into the Nam Ha Protected Area. After
short transfer we reach Don Sai Village where we meet our village guide and start
trekking into jungle following hunting trails of the locals. Along the trails the village
guide would help us to learn about plants and animals. Picnic lunch is served on the trail.
At the Khmu forest camp our village guide and villagers will show us how to collect wild
vegetables for dinner. We cook dinner over an open fire with Khmu hosts. After dinner
we could go for wildlife spotting with the village guide. You overnight at Khmu forest
camp.
Day 8: Khmu forest camp - Akha forest camp (B, L, D)
We wake up early for bird watching if you wish. We could help villagers to cook
traditional Khmu breakfast. After breakfast we head to Akha Camp through the Nam Ha
jungle. The village guides will go ahead of us to prepare a picnic lunch for us in the
forest. In the afternoon, we reach Akha Camp. We would cook and have dinner with the
village guide. You enjoy the quite evening in the village.
Day 9: Akha Camp - Ban Nam Mat May Village - Peang Ngam Village (B, L, D)
We get up early before breakfast to go to the hunting site where our Akha guide would
show us how he calls wild birds in. If we really want to see the birds, we have to act like
a hunter. We return to the camp to enjoy an Akha breakfast prepared by our village guide.
After breakfast, we start trekking through jungle until lunch time. Picnic lunch is served
by a stream.
After lunch, we continue trekking to Ban Mat May passing rice paddy fields and then on
to the village of Peang Ngam, a Black Thai village where we spend tonight in a local
house.

Day 10: Peang Ngam Village - Ban Nam Lai Village (B, L, D)
Today, we head to the heart of Nam Ha Nation Park. On the way, our village guide will
share with us his knowledge of fauna and flora of the forest and also culture of his ethnic
minority group. You have picnic lunch in jungle. After lunch, we hike a mountain before
reaching Nam Lai village of the Akha. Tonight we stay in another forest camp near the
village.
Day 11: Nam Lai Village - Ban Chaluen Sook Village (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we hike through rice paddies and along a stream until we encounter
jungle again. The village guide is sure to have more stories of the nature and culture of
this area to share with you. The stream leads us to Nam Yen Waterfall where we will
After lunch, we continue trekking in the jungle until we reach the Chaluen Sook Village
of the Khmu ethnic minority. You have dinner and overnight at home stay in Chaluen
Sook village.
Day 12: Ban Chaluen Sook - Ban Nalan Village - Ban Nam Goy Village (B, L, D)
You enjoy breakfast at the home-stay, after that we follow jungle trails and trek toward
mountain ridge. We may encounter villagers going to or coming from market. You have
picnic lunch on the way. In the afternoon, we descend toward the Ban Nalan Tai Village
of the Khmu ethnic minority. In order to distribute the benefit among villages, we will
stay in either the lodge of Ban Nam Goy Village or Ban Nalan Tai Village (Khmu) or
Ban Nam Goy Village (Lanten). You will stay overnight in Forest camp.
Day 13: Ban Nam Goy Village - Ban Hot Yawng Village - Luang Namtha (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we trek along the bank of the Nam Ha River before we cross the river on
bamboo raft. You continue trekking in jungle toward Ban Hot Yawng Village. Picnic
lunch is prepared by the village guide. As we approach the Ban Hot Yawng Village we
pass rice paddies and would see farmer working on their paddies.
From Ban Hot Yawng Village, we will return to Luang Namtha by either motor boat or
truck depending on the season. The option of returning by river is by traditional motor
boat operated by villagers. If returning by truck, the road may be a bit rough and a little
dusty. You go back to Luang Namtha in late afternoon and overnight there.
Day 14: Luang Namtha – Luang Prabang (B)
After breakfast, you prepare luggage for the long drive to Luang Prabang. You arrive in
there in late afternoon. You take time to relax and overnight in hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 15: Luang Prabang - Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, you catch a flight to Siem Reap and you are picked up at Siem Reap
international airport and welcomed by our staff. Transfer to your hotel and visit of
Artisans d'Angkor workshops, tour to the old market and Pub Street. You will be
overnight in hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 16: Visit temple in Angkor Wat (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will discover the temple of Angkor Wat with architecture to take
your breath away, then onto the Bayon temple and its monumental towers with 4 faces
orientated to the 4 cardinal points. You will also visit the Terrace of Elephants with it
impressive 2.5m high and 300m long wall, which is in the heart of the enclosure of
Angkor Thom. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will discover the
famous Ta Prohm temple covered by forest before visiting Srah Srang with its huge water
pool which faces Banteay Kdei and Prasat Kravan temples. You will be taken back to the
hotel and will dine in Siem Reap with a traditional Apsara dance show performed during
your meal.
Day 17: Siem Reap – Koh Ker (B, L, D)
After breakfast and a quick briefing on the equipment, you will go on your quad bike
Polaris Trail boss 330cc for 125 kms of tracks between sandy road, red soil road and
rolling passages towards the mountain of Phnom Bok. You will make a small trek to
reach the summit where you will have a view of the walls of Angkor. You will visit the
Chres Village School and Orphanage, picnic lunch is in a village, and visit the temple of
Koh Ker which is the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. After this exhausting day, you
will then eat a barbeque meal which has been prepared by a friendly Cambodian family.
You will spend the night with the local people.
Day 18: Koh Ker – Beng Melea – Siem Reap (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will leave Koh Ker and then ride on tracks with alternating speed
and moderate speed towards the temple of Beng Melea. Visit quarries where they are still
extracting by hand huge stone blocks, visit the temple which dates from early 11th
century and then lunch in a local restaurant. You will also visit the monastery of Pourk
before returning to Siem Reap. Back to your hotel for a well earned rest by the pool, we
will meet for an hour massage with natural oils in one of the best salon in town. Dinner is
at a restaurant and you overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 19: Free time and departure (B)
On the day of your departure you will have free leisure time to do as you please before
your transfer back to the international airport.

Trip Notes:
Food: All meals, which are indicated in the itinerary, are included in the price of this trip.
In big towns we will enjoy Laotian cuisine in fine restaurants. Once we travel away from
big towns, the emphasis will be on healthy and nutritious fresh local produce. Please
inform us at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirement.
Home-stay: Home-stay in villages is basic in term of bedding condition and toilet. We
will stay overnight in the traditional house of the locals. We will be provided with
mattress, clean sheet, pillows and mosquito nets. Toilet could be some steps away from
the house.
Tour guide: The tour will be guided by our local tour guides who are experienced in
guiding adventure tours. They have been carefully trained in their specialized field. They
are also fully licensed in tour guiding by the government. In addition, they have been
trained in first-aid and they know how to deal with difficult situations. You will have a
great time traveling with them.
The trekking day: A typical trekking day starts at about 8.00 am or 8.30 am after
breakfast. Lunch times can vary depending on the distance. We aim to reach the next
overnight stop by 4.30 pm or 5.00 pm. During the trek we will have short breaks for rest,
snack and photographing.
What to bring: Hat, sun-scream, torch, swim suit and sarong for bathing, clothes/shoes to
get wet, mosquito repellent, warm change of clothes for the evening.
