2. Adobe Photoshop CS6
Adobe Photoshop CS6 will be the program I use when
editing photos for my digipak and my magazine advert. I
am reasonably confident with this programme as I used it
both for GCSE aswell as A-Levels when producing a
magazine. Therefore I am aware on what the appropriate
tools are when editing a photo to make it look professional
and to the best possible standard. Photoshop is effective
when aiming to make any images stand out whether being
for originality of differentiation. Once all photos are edited
I am then able to drag and save them onto Indesign where I
will finish and complete the rest of my digipak and
magazine advert.
3. Adobe Indesign CS6
Adobe Indesign will help me when producing my magazine
advert and digipak. As I used this in year 12 I am able to
familiarise with all the tools and functions of the
programme. Therefore this will be beneficial as it will save a
lot of time as I won’t have to necessary learn a whole new
range of skills. Likewise this specific programme will help
when wanting to create a professional looking product as it
is more advanced to programmes such as powerpoint, paint
etc. Similarly Adobe Indesign works well when aiming to
create the correct dimensions and sizes to ensure that the
fit of the digipak and magazine advert will be sport on.
4. Adobe Premiere CS6
Lastly I will be using Adobe Premiere CS6 when editing all
of my footage and merging it into one. This is where I will
insert the backing song and make sure that all lip synching
used is in synch. As I haven’t used this programme before I
do not feel as confident in comparison to using
programmes such as Photoshop however I have been
watching tutorials on our media hub and Youtube to try
and gain a basic understanding on how the programme
works. I have already learned that all the footage is placed
on a timeline and in order to fit correctly it all has to be cut
into place in order for the lip synching to work with the
background song.
