Este documento analiza el impacto de la acreditación sanitaria en la centralidad del paciente en los procesos asistenciales. Examina cómo la acreditación puede influir en los programas de control de infecciones y la calidad de la atención al paciente. También explora dilemas metodológicos en el estudio de este tema y presenta conclusiones sobre cómo la acreditación puede promover un enfoque centrado en el paciente.
