Festivals Around World
1. The Most Dangerous Road on the Planet Is Still Pretty Terrifying
If you are ever in Bolivia then there is a very good chance that you will go to La Paz. And if you go to La
Paz you are probably going to be tempted by a cycle trip down the most dangerous road in the world,
also reassuringly known as Death Road. This isn’t a trip for the faint hearted but it is an unbelievable
experience which will give your life long memories.
Choose an Agency
It is easy to find agencies for this trip anywhere in the touristy part of the city (especially around Calle
Sagarnaga). The travel agencies all offer this service and a good idea is to ask people who have already
done it whether their operator was as any good. The standard of bikes varies and you will want good
brakes when you are hurtling down a dirt road with a sheer drop at the side of you. A standard trip will
see you ride to Coroico before getting the bus back to La Paz. You have the option of relaxing from the
terrifying trip by staying a night or two in the pleasant town of Coroico.
The Trip
The road in question takes you from the cold, high altitude city of La Paz to the tropical Yungas district of
the country. If you thought the earlier point about the brakes was an exaggeration then considers that
you drop some 3000 metres in a trip of around 70km on possibly the worst road you will ever cycle on.
The road is usually potholed as well as being ridiculously, scarily tight and bendy. To save you asking the
question once you are there; yes, the crosses at the side of the road are what you think they are. Many
people have died on this road over the years and while there is now less traffic due to the opening of an
alternative route for getting from La Paz to the Yungas, Death Road is still capable of claiming victims.

Imagine the luminous glow of Ayers Rock at sunset, a captivating sight and sacred rock to peoples of the

Head to the Red Centre and experience the rugged roots of Australia!
Before you set out on this magnificent journey into the outback, don’t hesitate to book your
reservations in advance! When it comes to saving money, I like to go with Heathrow parking or Stansted
parking to avoid the unnecessary hassle of expensive taxi fees.

2. The ‘low down’ On the Red Bull air race
Established in 2003, the Red Bull Air Race is an intercontinental sequence of air
races, wherein the competitors get to navigate past a difficult obstacle course in
the shortest time frame. Created by Red Bull, this competition requires pilots to
individually fly against time taking tight turns across a rough course comprising
of pylons which are otherwise called as “Air Gates”.
Held in water near cities, these races are usually held alongside another
supporting program consisting of show flights. Also held at natural wonders or
airfields, these races are organized in the weekends where the first day is meant for qualification and
the subsequent days are for knockout finals. These events are huge crowd pullers and are broadcasted
both live and recorded across several nations. While the World Championship points are earned by the
top nine places, the World Champion for the Red Bull Air Race is that air racer who scores the maximum
points towards the end of event or championship.

Base jumping is a game that involves the usage of parachutes with the players
landing at different locations based on their liking. Base, which is the name of the
game is derived from the places or venues where the game is played with ‘B’
standing for buildings, ‘A’ for antennas, s for spans and e for earth. Since it is not a
competitive game or sport, it is mainly conducted for purposes of fun and
adventure. The other sports that can be compared to BASE jumping include
mountaineering, skydiving, and rock climbing.
Pamplona Bull Run
While running with bulls may sound like an odd way to have fun, each year thousands of adventurous
souls travel to Pamplona, Spain, to do just that. Forming part of the San Fermin Festival, The Pamplona
Bull Run takes place between July 7 and 14 each year. Every morning during this week, six bulls and two
herds of tame bulls are set free from their corral. The bulls form a small pack and run through the city
