                               = 14,821.49 m2
Overall Status
• Approximate cost per
unit area per month = 32.50 Rs/(Sq.ft, Month)
                                       = 349.80 Rs/(m2, Month)

• Approximate unit consumption per
unit area per month = 1.48 kwh /(sq. ft, month)
                                       = 15.97 kwh /(m2, month)
                                       = 191.64 kwh /(m2, Year)

• Accepted Green Building
  Standards               = 1.25 -1.41 kwh/(Sq ft, month)
                                       = 161.46 – 182.13 kwh / (m2, Year)
Air Conditioning
• More than 50% of total electricity cost has
being used for the cooling purpose.

 Recommendation:
 Minimum usage of the chiller on Sunday, Poya day, and after working
       hours.
 Switch off the FCU (Fan Coil Unit) during lunch hour and after working
       hours.
 The solar film can be pasted on the windows that adjacent to the cubicle
Lighting
• Main Lobby, Service lobbies and toilets are
  designed for natural lighting.

 Recommendations:

 Toilets, passages to be switched off when ever it is not necessary.
 Switch off unnecessary lighting during non working hours.
 Designate a personnel take care of the lighting saving.
Raw Power And UPS
Energy Consumptions:
• Desk Top: 60-250W
• On Screen : 60-250W
• Sleep stand by: 1-6W

 Recommendations:
 Policy to implement Hibernate/Sleeping/Power economy option as
          mandatory.
 Switch off all computers after work. We have identified that the night
time consumption is higher that expected.
 Switching off Photocopiers when not in use.
 Use water dispensers and fridges efficiently.
 Look for energy star rating when purchasing the equipment.
Energy Audit
• Preliminary Energy Audit could be carried out by us with the
assistance of the floor energy representatives.
• New Analyzers will be fixed which will give a more precise
  measurement.
