2. My name is Mr. Grizzly. I weigh between 200 and 1500 pounds. I teach my friend with the big ears how to play basketball. Mr. Grizzly is a good coach. He helps me with my defense. When I practice, I leave giant footprints in the dirt.
3. My friends and I are practicing basketball. Mr. Grizzly is helping us get ready for the game. During the game, two bears got into a fight. Bears can get really mean. The referee had to give them a foul. A referee is an official to keep the game under control and all of the players safe.
4. After the game, we decide to go for a swim. We like the water, especially after a long game. It cools us down. We can get our fish from a nearby lake, pond, or river. Please don’t eat me. Berries and other plants are also a part of our diet.
5. I was really happy. We won our first game! I was so happy, I gave the team a day off. Some decide to take another swim.
6. Some even decide to take a nap. They slept so long, they missed our next game.
7. I was so MAD!!!! When I get mad you should be running the other way. I don’t know what to do. I took a walk and tried to think.
8. The team saw how mad I was and decided to ask the other team for a rematch. They agreed. So they played. I heard a lot of noise and went to see what was going on.
9. I was happy when the team woke up because there was a rematch. Our final season wasn’t too bad. Maybe next year we will do better.
