One of the most important element is “COMPANY GOAL” most fail to retail
employees or lose out on marketing, since goals are unclear or only in the mind of
the top leader. The “GOAL” should be very clear and simple for each employee to
understand and connect. This makes the employee passionate about the
company, in – turn results in together working towards achieving it.

In 2004 Tristan White the CEO of The Physico Co. had a only one employee that is
the CEO himself and did 1500 consultations. In 2013 the company had 60
employees rated as BRW best company to work with and on its way to achieve its
10 year goal of 2 mn consultations.
It all changed in 2008 when the CEO decided on a GOAL and worked reverse to
achieve it, now within 5 years he is close to achieving 10 year goal. This is the
magic of GOAL and getting employees together to work on to achieve this GOAL.
Nevertheless the company won BRW Top 5 Great Places to work at award.

Identifying information to communicate with employees, since this has to match
with the company culture, brand and vision. The information has to be efficiently
communicated with the employees and distribute them the responsibilities along
with decision making roles. This proves to be beneficial in the long run since
employees can become intrepreneurs.

Tata Sky was facing issues during its growth, after two years of rapid expansion,
management wanted more speed, but bureaucracy and conflict were limiting
efficiency.
After crafting information aligned with the company goals, two day workshops
were conducted for all the regional zones. Post training, Tata Sky experienced
changed in behavior of empoloyees.
• Teams which were silent started having conservations
• Team members who were looking out for change due to other
members, discussed their issue with the senior members.
