For beech logs – 26 m3
For fresh sawn timber – 30 – 35 m3 depending on sizes
For KD sawn timber – 35 – 40 m3 depending on sizes
Pine radiata from New Zealand and Australia grows very fast (30 – 40 years
before it is cut down). Because of climate it absorbs a lot of moisture, which allows
it to increase its diameter very fast.

Pinus sylvestris from our region grows slower (90 – 100 years before it is cut
down). It contains much lower level of moisture, and the average diameter of it
usually smaller than from Pine radiata.

Becasuse of above mentioned Pine radiata rots very fast, rather cracky and of low
quality. Our Pinus sylvestris does not rot for long time when it is in stock (6
months and more), is stronger and of better quality.
Pine from Ukraine is usually used by our customer for construction and for
packaging purposes (wooden boxes, pallets, etc.)

Pine from Latvia and Lithuania grows in the same climate as pine in Russia. Thus,
the quality of it is at the same level as for Russian pine.

It is usually used for furniture production where quality is essential for the
manufacturer.

  • 22. Pine radiata from New Zealand and Australia grows very fast (30 – 40 years before it is cut down). Because of climate it absorbs a lot of moisture, which allows it to increase its diameter very fast. Pinus sylvestris from our region grows slower (90 – 100 years before it is cut down). It contains much lower level of moisture, and the average diameter of it usually smaller than from Pine radiata. Becasuse of above mentioned Pine radiata rots very fast, rather cracky and of low quality. Our Pinus sylvestris does not rot for long time when it is in stock (6 months and more), is stronger and of better quality.
  • 23. Pine from Ukraine is usually used by our customer for construction and for packaging purposes (wooden boxes, pallets, etc.) Pine from Latvia and Lithuania grows in the same climate as pine in Russia. Thus, the quality of it is at the same level as for Russian pine. It is usually used for furniture production where quality is essential for the manufacturer.
