30. FIRST SESSION Goals for the Day I will finish two chapters of Math, one chapter of geography and finish 20 pages of reading! I am feeling ambitious Affirmations I choose to put love and joy into everything that I do Coffee time I will discuss the affirmation for one minute infront of class Speed Reading Drills I will practice reading with a pointer! Typing Exercies I doubled my typing speed in one month!
The first step that the board took while founding IQRA' is decide on the mission which was revised many times. So it's befitting here to start with our mission.
IQRA' is the first word in the holy Quran. So it's also appropriate that IQRA' academy is the first in its field.
The academics at IQRA' could divided into two main branches in terms of teaching style and curriculum.

Teachers are very important at IQRA'. We will try to go together into a day in the life of IQRA'. We will be going to the second grade. So lets go back together
The class starts with the lesson itself. We will have a look at the book in the next slide, The students also do some exercises in the class. At the end of each unit, there are exercises aimed at mastering the contents of chapter. Once the student gets home, they can login into their accounts, review the task.

The second branch of our academics is our online program. We opted to provide the computer lab with state of the art equipment.

Each class will take Arabic as their language selective. Each class will take an hour of Arabic and an hour of Quran on a daily basis. The pictures below show the activities happening at IQRA'.
