1. How To Make A Tornado In A Bottle
Materials:
2 2Lbottles
bigroll of sticky tape
1.5Lwater
soap
Method:
1. Pour water into a 2L bottle.
2. Drop glitter in instead of dust.
3. Stick the 2 bottles together using big tapes and go around
many times.
4. Make sure that water is not leaking.
5. Shake the bottles you have made.
6. Do not shake forward, back ward or left to right.
7. You need to shake round in a circle.
8. Observe to see the tornado shape.
The science behind it:
Tornadoes happen because warm air and cool air meets
together. So they go around and it spins lots of times and it
makes a tornado. As it spins, it gets stronger and faster.
Tornadoes descend from thunderstorms. Tornado are very
strong so they can wreck buildings and can lift trucks.
Tornadoes can move hundreds km per hour. If a tornado starts,
look at TV or radio or listen to siren to be safe. If you are
outside go under ground. Tornadoes can be really big, from 2-
10km wide. That means if we don’t follow rules we could die.
