Health and Safety in offshore wind The Crown Estate have identified that the main issue with employees going to work on the turbines will be the helicopter transfer: We can provide a HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) course to help insure that, in the event of an emergency, escape is performed in a practiced and well-controlled manner. 4. Boat Transfer When going offshore the main threat faced by workers may also be safe boat transfer to the installation. We provide this training in realistic surroundings on how to assess risk and accessing the offshore wind turbine safely.
