Awards SABRE Award ( Achievement in Branding and Reputation) for NCR Intranet Site Recognition Award IABC Bronze Quill Award, IABC Chapter Work History Digital Marketing Consultant June 2010 – present Online Communications Specialist - NCR Corp. NCR.com Redesign: Led launch of new, externally focused NCR.com with a clean, modern look/feel and new content. The reorganization of the site made it easier for business people to find relevant info on the site and through search engines. Total visits and page views rose 25% over the previous year.
NCR.com Redesign – Easier access to information: The new information architecture made it easy for users to access different types of info about products. By simply landing on a product page, users can access data sheets, brochures, case studies and news articles.
NCR.com Redesign – Showcasing key information: Content management calls for insight and adaptability to meet users' interests. I reorganized the news releases entry page to enable visitors to immediately access the most recent NCR news. Usage of news releases increased by 21%.
Multilingual publishing: Launched a multilingual version of NCR.com in six languages: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese. More than 600 pages of translated content was published. Page views of translated pages comprised 27% of NCR.com total.
Simplified 'Contact Us' Form: Simplified NCR.com's Contact Us form to require only essential contact info such as phone number or email address.
Video publishing: Nothing rivals video for bringing product features to life. I created a video publishing process and a standard for on-page presentation of videos covering selection of preview images and caption style to help users clearly understand a video's subject.
Adapting to a shifting media landscape: It's not enough to simply publish your story on your website and wait for people to find it. You need to be smart about distributing content to popular social media communities like YouTube. The goal is to make sure your content, your messages are available in the context and medium that users prefer.

Training guides : NCR.com contains thousands of pages and files, with geographically dispersed contributors responsible for adding and updating content. Turnover is frequent. I created a series of publishing training guides to enable contributors to quickly step into their new responsibilities.

NCR Intranet Council: I set up the NCR Intranet Council as a community of practice for intranet site managers, developers, content contributors, intranet users. The goal: improve the overall value of the intranet system by sharing knowledge and encouraging sites to follow best practices and standards.
Intranet Recognition Program: To encourage intranet site owners to use the corporate template (for consistent look/feel) and follow basic standards for content quality and usability, I created an intranet recognition program. Site managers who met the site criteria received an award, an icon for display on their site and a letter to their boss. Despite having no budget the program was a success. In the first year of the program, 62 sites applied for the award, with 42 accepted.
