Telecentre-Europe Summit in Budapest -
a great success!
The Telecentre-Europe Summit held this month in
Budapest brought together telecentre network
leaders and eInclusion actors from across Europe.
The event was held under the patronage of Neelie
Kroes, Vice-President of the European
Commission, responsible for the Digital Agenda.
The event started with a personal video address
from Commissioner Kroes, and overall feedback
from delegates was very positive, with a huge
number of actions and opportunities arising from
it. Thanks to everyone who attended for making it
so engaging.

3. Telecentre-Europe facilitates digital
literacy for all
Telecentre-Europe helped creating a partnership
project Click to Europe, where a Serbian NGO
International Aid Network (IAN) and Fundacion
Esplai from Spain have joined their strengths in an
effort to promote and improve digital inclusion in
Serbia. The project is supported by the Delegation
of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia
and Microsoft.
Through building a partnership between CSOs,
public and private sector and by relying on
developed EU policies and learning from the EU
experiences in the domain of digital inclusion, this
project aims to promote and contribute to e-
inclusion of people, businesses and communities
in Serbia, thus improving quality of life,
employability and social inclusion of citizens.
