2. The rule of the Nazi Party was short, but a
terrifying one. Hitler sought to achieve many
things. We can tell what Hitler wanted to
achieve, primarily the Nazi Party Ideology
through two main sources:
1. The 25 Points
2. Mein Kampf
3. The 25 points were quite simply what the Nazi
party wanted to do and what they wanted out
of their people. The 25 points can be split up
into a couple of categories:
1. Land and Rights
2. Economic
3. Social Changes
The full list can be found at:

points.htm
4. The 25 points that deal with land and rights are:
1. We demand the union of all Germans in a Great Germany on the
basis of the principle of self-determination of all peoples.
3. We demand land and territory (colonies) for the maintenance of our
people and the settlement of our surplus population.
5. Those who are not citizens must live in Germany as foreigners and
must be subject to the law of aliens.
9. All citizens must possess equal rights and duties.
19. We demand that Roman law, which serves a materialist ordering
of the world, be replaced by German common law.
25. In order to carry out this program we demand: the creation of a
strong central authority in the State, the unconditional authority
by the political central parliament of the whole State and all its
organizations.
5. Some of the 25 points that deal with Economics:
7. We demand that the State shall above all undertake to ensure that
every citizen shall have the possibility of living decently and
earning a livelihood. If it should not be possible to feed the whole
population, then aliens (non-citizens) must be expelled from the
Reich.
10. The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or
physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against
the interest of the community to the benefit of all.
11. That all unearned income, and all income that does not arise from
work, be abolished.
14. We demand profit-sharing in large industries.
15. We demand a generous increase in old-age pensions.
6. Some of the 25 points that deal with Social Change:
18. We demand that ruthless war be waged against those who work to the injury
of the common welfare. Traitors, usurers, profiteers, etc., are to be punished
with death, regardless of creed or race.
20. In order to make it possible for every capable and industrious German to
obtain higher education, and thus the opportunity to reach into positions of
leadership, the State must assume the responsibility of organizing
thoroughly the entire cultural system of the people. The curricula of all
educational establishments shall be adapted to practical life. The conception
of the State Idea (science of citizenship) must be taught in the schools from
the very beginning. We demand that specially talented children of poor parents,
whatever their station or occupation, be educated at the expense of the State.
24. We demand freedom for all religious faiths in the state, insofar as they do not
endanger its existence or offend the moral and ethical sense of the
Germanic race.
24. COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD
7. What can we learn from the 25 points about the
1.
Racial ideas of Hitler?
Who was more important? What does this tell
2.
us?
It states that they demand freedom for all
3.
religions, what were the two major exceptions?
Looking at his Economic polices, what other

type of Government do they mimic?
8. Hitler thought that the Germans were Superior.
1.
The Community was more important than the
2.
individual
the Two major exceptions were: Judaism and

polices.
9. Mein Kampf is a two part
book. One part deals
with Hitler’s
Autobiography, part
two dealing with the
Ideology of Hitler
10. “The Jew was far too shrewd not to understand that the infamous
campaign which he had organized, under the cloak of War
Companies, for plundering the German nation would and must
eventually arouse opposition”
“By handing Russia to Bolshevism, it robbed the Russian nation of that
intelligentsia... Russia drew nourishment from the Germanic... It has
been replaced by the Jew.”
“Taking this point of view into consideration, only two States remain to
us as possible allies in Europe - England and Italy”
“France is and will remain the implacable enemy of Germany”
“But the Marxist fighting forces, commanded by international and Jewish
stock-exchange capital, cannot finally smash the national resistance in
Germany without friendly help from outside. For this purpose French
armies would first have to invade and overcome the territory of the
German Reich until a state of international chaos would set in, and
then the country would have to succumb to Bolshevik storm troops in
the service of Jewish international finance.”
11. From Mein Kampf what do we further learn
1.
about the racial polices of Hitler?
Who did Hitler see as the only possibilities for
2.
Allies? Which of these became His allies, and
Who didn’t?
What three things from these extracts can we
3.
learn that Hitler doesn’t like?
12. We further learn about his dislike for the Jew,
1.
Frenchman and Russian.
Hitler saw that he could only ally himself with
2.
Brittan or Italy. Italy became his ally, whereas
Brittan opposed him.
Jews, Communists and France
3.
13. The Major difference between Mein Kampf and
the 25 points are:
The Level of Detail:
Mein Kampf goes into greater detail about the
ideology than the 25 points does.
The Perspective:
Mein Kampf is purely from the perspective of
Hitler, whereas 25 points is a lot less bias, and
racist.
14. So now you are familiar with the ideology of the
Nazi party you must study the effect (or
Impact) on Germany. To give you a quick
reminder of some of the problems that Hitler
exploited to get into power, I will e images to
prod your memory.

21. To show you the impact I will talk about it in a
couple of different areas:
Political
1.
2. Economic
3. Social
22. The Political System took a major overhaul when
Hitler took power. All of a sudden it changed
from the “perfect” democracy that was known
as the Weimar Republic into the autocratic rule
of Adolf Hitler.
Question-
What were the significant differences between
the Weimar Republic and Nazi Germany?
23. quot;the economy is something of secondary
importance“ Adolf Hitler
They used what is known as Keynesian. This
was to create economic situations which would
both simulate the economy and create work for
the Germans.
Question
Can you think of any ways in which Hitler
achieved this?
