This document outlines the agenda for a workshop on developing evaluation capacity in information and communication technologies for development (ICTD). It provides background on why the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is supporting the Developing Evaluation Capacity in ICTD (DECI) initiative, which aims to build participants' evaluation skills through an open, iterative and consultative process. The DECI workshop will contribute to capacity building, an ICTD research project, and publications/presentations by participants on evaluation studies and exploring expansion to other regions. The roles of workshop participants include IDRC research partners, evaluation facilitators, and IDRC staff.
