Chile
The official name of Chile is Républiva de Chile. The form of government is a

2006 there were 16,4 million inhabitants. The population of Chile grows every

population consist of White and White-mestizos people, this segment is a mixed
races between colonial Spanishin.
There are some different languages in Chile; Spanish, Quechua, Aymará,
Mapudungun and Rapa Nui. But the first spoken language is Spanish.
The most people in Chile are catholic, more than 89 percent of them. 11 percent

Colombia
The official name of Colombia is República de Colombia. The form of the
government is a presidential republic and is controlled by President Alvora
Uribe Vélez. Colombia is the third most populous country in South
America. On the first and second place are Brazil and Mexico.
The whole area of the country is 1.141.748 km2 , if you will compromise
this with the Netherlands Colombia is 28x bigger than that little land. The
capitol is Bogotá. In 2006 there were 46,3 million inhabitants. The
population of Colombia grows every year with 1,6 percent. It is expected that the population of the
country will be grow to 50,7 million people by 2015. In 2005 30 percent of the population were under
the 15 years old and there was a percentage of 5,1 about the people over the 65. The majority of the
population in Colombia is mestizo, or of mixed European and Amerindian ancenstry, 57 percent. There
are also people of other races; European ancestry only, mulatto (this is a mixed European and black
African ancestry), black African ancestry only, zambo ( this is a mixed Amerindian and black African
2. ancestry and pure indigenous Amerindians. You can concluded that this is a society with one of the
greatest mixed population.
The language that is used in Colombia is Spanish, mostly an accent; Colombian Spanish. In fact there in
total 101 languages through all the ectnic. 80 of this languages are living languages. One of the well-
knowed language is the Quechua language, spoken by descendants of the Inca empire. At this moment
more than 500.000 speaks one of the languages.
More than 95 percent of the population is Christan. The majority of Colombia, between the 81 and 90
percent, is Roman Catholic. One fact is that the inhabitants of Colombia don’t practice their faith
actively.

Ecuador
Ecuador is a country in South America. Quitio is the capital of
this country.
The population of Ecuador is ethnically diverse. The largest
group in 2007 is the Mestizos. This is a group mixed of Spanish
colonist and indigenous Indians, 55 percent of the population.
The majority of Ecuadorians live in the central provinces inland
in the Andes mountains, of along the Pacific coast. In the capital
of Ecuador live almost 1,5 million people. The biggest city is
Guayaquil with more than 2 million people. The other cities have
a population around the 200.000 people.
Just like as in all the other countries of South America the most
of the Ecuadorians are Roman Catholic, like 95 percent. 4
percent of the inhabitant are Protestants.
