5. Short Films The main short film that we analysed was ‘Vincent’ by Tim Burton. This short film has proved to be fairly successful as far as short films go. We carefully looked at the dialogue that was used, the ways in which the shots were placed throughout the film and other minor factors such as shot angles and colour scheme. We came to the conclusion that detail is picked extremely carefully, as there is limited time to use. This helped us extremely, as after watching this, we realised that we had to shorten some of the ideas that we had previously had for our film.
