The document is about global warming and the greenhouse effect. It explains that global warming is caused by increased carbon dioxide trapping heat in the atmosphere. The greenhouse effect occurs when gases like carbon dioxide and methane trap heat similarly. Rising global temperatures are affecting weather patterns and threatening animal habitats and species. While no individual can solve the problem alone, small changes in individual behaviors that reduce carbon footprints, like using less fossil fuels, can help address global warming.
2. Global Warming
Global Warming is the theory that increasing carbon
dioxide in the atmosphere will raise earth’s
temperature

3. How Global Warming works?
The gases from the Greenhouse Effect get trapped by
the atmosphere (or ozone) and heat everything up.

4. What is the Greenhouse Effect?
The process by which heat is trapped in the
atmosphere by water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane
and other gases that form a blanket around Earth

5. How does the Greenhouse Effect
relate to Global Warming?
They are related by the greenhouse gases going up to
the atmosphere and not being able to make it through
so they are forced back down to Earth which heats it
and makes it hotter

6. What are some of the effects of
Global Warming?
Some effects are melting ice caps
Death and extinction of animals
Birds like the Canvasback ducks migrate north each
year and with rising temperatures they might adapt by
staying north all year round.

7. Why do scientists think Global
Warming is happening?
Scientists think global warming is happening because
of rising temperatures throughout the years
The temperature has risen from -3 degrees in 1880 to .7
degrees Fahrenheit in 2000

8. What is causing Global Warming
People mostly are causing Global Warming by burning
fuels in our car and most of our motorized pieces of
equipment
Factories play another major part because of when
they let the smoke and chemicals out of the tower they
have it helps with Global Warming

10. Questions about graph
The graph before this represents how much carbon we
produce a lifetime. Where I live it doesn't really affect
us but other places like Antarctica are having to deal
with the melting ice caps and glaciers but it affects the
animals just as bad or maybe even worse because if all
the ice melts then the animals have no where to walk
or sit so they would be in the water the whole time and
mammal like animals would die unlike marine
animals.

11. What can we do to stop Global
Warming?
To at least help stop global warming we could all stop
driving so much or carpool to save gas and not to burn
as much.
Start inventing or buying more electricity powered
items.
Cut down on have much chemicals or smoke facotries
put out.

12. What is your opinion on the
situation?
My opinion is the same as the page before, we all need
to cut down on what we use and try some new stuff.
What is your opinion?
You by yourself can make a difference by doing little
things a day that make a big impact on the fight
against Global Warming
