1. Starving The Demons-Part 1
The Lord has been giving me much revelation on demons recently, mainly about why so many Christians
are plagued by them! Over the last 4 years I have followed the Deliverance Ministry teachings of Derek
Prince, and Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. Much of the knowledge about demons, that I have acquired,
came from their books on deliverance. However, this was knowledge from a book by other deliverance
ministries.
Recently the Lord gave the following personal revelation to me on how the demons operate. This is not
from reading a deliverance manual, this came from the unction of the Holy Spirit, which is why I am
relating it to everyone. I feel that it is a teaching that will help many of you out there to understand just
how IMPORTANT it is to safeguard your MIND, and your THOUGHTS, and why repentance is SO
IMPORTANT to do immediately as you are convicted of the sin.....You are just feeding the demons when
you have unrepented sin on you...
Jesus was tempted and tried just as we were. He said that satan had come and had "found nothing in
me" The question here is: WHAT DIDN'T SATAN FIND IN JESUS? He didn't find any SIN, (demon
food) that's what! The key here is about SUBMISSION TO GOD..... If you will truly SUBMIT yourself to
GOD, and RESIST the devil, then HE has no choice but to flee, for that is the Word of God!
Now this is what the Lord showed to me-some of you aren't really getting what SUBMIT yourself to God
means....This was impressed on my spirit heavily two weeks ago! Most people quote the part that says to
RESIST THE DEVIL and He will flee, but that is not all true, for if you don't SUBMIT yourself to GOD
first , and since satan and his demons are LEGALISTS, they still don't have to go. You see, submitting
YOUR WILL to God's will is just how Jesus did it! He said He came to do, NOT HIS OWN WILL, but
that of the Father! He laid down his life for the SHEEP, he did not do His Own Will! He did not try and
make Himself God when he came in the form of man, He had submitted to humbling himself to save us....
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:8
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts,
ye double minded.
James 4:9
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
James 4:10
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
This means that you are supposed to give yourself to doing the will of God, NOT to your own petty
desires and wishes...and so many wonder why the demons trouble US so much. Where is the
SUBMITTING TO God's will? The demons cannot bother you UNLESS THEY HAVE PERMISSION
from YOU, that's all there is to it. If they are bothering you, tormenting you through addictions,
depression, sickness,etc. then SOMEWHERE you have given them permission and they are holding onto
it like a turtle until it thunders! Doubts and fears also give them PERMISSION, because fear activates
the demons, while faith activates God!
Satan operates like a lawyer, yet one that has access to your mind. No, he does not have access to your
SPIRIT, for if you have the Holy Ghost, then your spirit belongs to God, and satan cannot gain access to
that. That is how you can be saved, or have salvation, but still have demons plaguing you as a Christian.
Satan DOES have access to the mind and the body, the CARNAL realm, but not to the part of you that
belongs to God, your Spirit, but satan cannot operate in your body or flesh unless you GIVE him
permission!

2. Now, how do we SUBMIT ourselves to God? Well, this is going to be a powerful teaching that is going to
help you very much, if you will learn to apply it! The demons FEED off of the NEGATIVE ENERGY
that you or any other human generates. This NEGATIVITY or evil, if you will, is their FOOD! They feed
on your negative energy and/or sin, and I would go so far as to say that they are negative ENERGY
VAMPIRES. They cannot feed if they can't find some evil or negative energy coming from you. This is
why Jesus said that satan came and found NOTHING in Him, there was no evil, no guile, NOTHING, no
negative energy for them to FEED ON! NOTHING was found, no sin, no evil, to feed on! SO, is it any
wonder satan couldn't touch Him? All that Jesus did, he did WILLINGLY, for He said he had the power
to lay down his life, and to take it up again.
You are giving the demons FOOD when you commit a sin, for all sin is demon food, and gives them
LEGAL rights to come in to plague you. Here is how I see it. It's sort of like buzzards. Have you ever
wondered HOW they know when an animal is dying, and you know that you can see them soaring above,
a whole flock of them, just WAITING on an animal to die? This is programmed into them, because dead
animals are their FOOD. They are God's garbage clean up crew for the dead animal bodies. So, eating
dead things is how they survive.
Now, as we said, the demons are much like the buzzards, they feed off of dead things...SIN is death of
your mind, body, for it is disobedience to God's laws....yet Jesus died for our sins, to cover them right?
RIGHT! You have salvation because of the blood...that is certain....but as you commit new sins, they are
piling up everyday before God...and the demons see these sins...they are demon food....this is why
REPENTANCE daily is such a strong warfare tool....to see your sins and repent from them.....
Now here is how I see it, to give you a graphic analogy! When you commit a sin, something in you begins
giving off negative energy, and just like buzzards who are zoning in on a dying animal, the demons are
alerted: " Here is another one that just sinned, they might say. Let's go and take a look! We are hungry
and need some food! Maybe they won't repent or see their sin, and we can feed on him or her."
So, the demons see your sin that you committed, and yes even the thoughts that you have thought that
were NOT of God. They SEE IT, and when they see it, they begin honing in on you, for they know that
the sin is the PERMISSION to come in and feed. IF you don't see your sin, or repent of it, then it is NOT
under the blood, and the demons can come in and FEED, this is their permission! The Blood of Jesus
wipes out the negative energy that was given off when you sinned....and just like the buzzards coming to
feed, the demons come when they too smell DEATH..and sin and evil is the SMELL OF DEATH to them.
We must stop feeding the demons!
One of the best tricks that demons love to use on people is the splitting up of their minds into different
"compartments", or fragmentation, and so a person who has committed a crime, such as child molesting,
let's say, will have this crime so totally blocked from their own remembrance. This is evident in most
deliverance sessions with people. The devil will blind them from seeing what has happened, so that they
cannot begin to "root" out the demon. How can you find something, or get to it, if you don't even
REMEMBER you had it or did it? That is the strategy of the mind-blinding demons, to prevent you from
being AWARE of the demon's power over you....it blinds you so that you let it control you, and you are
unaware of what it is doing. That is it's power....
In fact, their food is so precious to them, that they will send in a MIND BLINDING demon JUST so you
won't see your sin, or you will ignore the pricking of your conscience, or outright not care if you commit
sin....so the mind blinding demon is sent in to MAKE SURE they are going to have you for dinner or
supper! The mind blinding demon guarantees that you will not be ABLE to see your sin and REPENT!
This is why sometimes it is so hard to root out certain demons, they have been there so long without you
being AWARE of them, and they are keeping the door open for the other demons to FEED off of you!
So, you thought you were ok with just salvation, right? Yes, you might be saved, but you are going to live
a total undefeated hell on earth if you don't begin seeing the strategy the devil has plotted for you! We
need to wake up and realize the consequences of not taking our every thought CAPTIVE to Jesus Christ!

3. Also, the Apostle Paul described it as a war between flesh and spirit still, even after the cross, for there
would have been no reason for flesh to war with the spirit would there? Yes,it is evident that satan still
has a certain amount of access and control over the body and the mind, but not the SPIRIT! Yet, he is
STILL a defeated foe!
Romans 7:14
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Ro 7:15
For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Ro 7:16
If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Ro 7:17
Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Ro 7:18
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,)
dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me;
but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Ro 7:19
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Ro 7:20
Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Ro 7:21
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Ro 7:22
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Ro 7:23
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind,
and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Ro 7:24
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Ro 7:25
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind
I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Do you see how the flesh still "served the law of sin" even after the cross? Why do you think this is? It's
because satan is the god of this world still, of the carnal realm, and he has been allowed to do what he
does by God, because of the fullfilllment of prophecy....for many will be tested and tried and proven
worthy as overcomers. Satan's sentence is pronounced, and it is certain and set, but it will not happen
until the appointed time. Yet, Jesus overcame sin and death's ability to HOLD us, for we have the free
will now to deny satan permission to our MINDS and to our Flesh. It is our freewill choice now! Before
the cross, there was no permission needed from satan, for he was operating in the full capacity and full
rights to torment mankind. That right was taken from him at the cross, and is now given ONLY WITH
OUR PERMISSION! See, God still gives us the right to choose, and not be robots. We get the choice
now!
2Corinthians 4:3
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Salvation is eternal life, but sanctification is a process where the Holy Spirit works on you to make you
WHOLE and HOLY, which means that it is an ongoing thing, and that you have to keep your mind and

4. thoughts SUBMITTED to God daily, YOU have to do this, YOU have to give GOD permission, and stop
giving the devil permission! That is why scripture says to think on the things that are pure, holy, honest,
just and of good report! If you think on THESE things, there is no negative energy for the demons to feed
on!
Phillipians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if
there be any praise, think on these things.
Php 4:9
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in
me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
God could have chosen to have simply pardoned Adam and Eve after they sinned, but He did not,
because He went by His Own Laws that He had created. To go by His own laws, and not break them, the
DEBT of sin had to be canceled, for it was still EYE FOR EYE, and TOOTH FOR TOOTH, before the
cross, and the only way to cancel out the sin was blood for blood, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. So, even
God went by his own rules! He sent Jesus to cancel out the debt, for it was necessary. That was the only
way, unless He would break His own laws...for then we would not have needed a Saviour to die for our
sins!
This is also how satan got to accuse God about Job. God had to allow the testing of Job, since satan
accused God of "breaking the rules" which God Himself had set up. God had put a hedge around Job,
because God loved him....so the testing was allowed....God upheld his own rules. This is why satan is a
legalist. He knows God has set the world up with certain rules and boundaries, and satan tried to use
these rules against God Himself. Yet Job was proven faithful! Praise God!
Now, I hope you have been able to follow this teaching. I know it may be unlike anything you have ever
heard before, but this is how the Lord gave it to me.
