Benj has asked for a "clean copy" of Bill Benton's Nov.17 appraisal letter ie:just his
letter. Please scan and email to him.
We had a conversation and both agreed that the Kellys are welcome to an inspection, but
should not use this to renegotiate for a lesser amount for a long list oflittle things. There
are always things that need to be addressed, but the purpose of the inspection is for major
defects or safety issues.
It is hard to negotiate without seeing a new Bill Benton appraisal. The previous appraisal
listed a range of $345,000 to $365.000 amd the new offer is $340,000 which is below his
range; the banks will likely not consider this and why should they if Bill Benton says it is
worth more than that.
We do want to move forward and appreciate your efforts. We had hoped to have a new
appraisal with the offer so that we could talk to the banks.
