- Blooms taxonomy chart of higher order thinking skills Why this is important? -this is how students need to learn -the idea is for students to reach the top and be able to have a complete understanding of the materials -this chart should be used for all lesson so many times we only reach the knowledge and maybe understand but that is it. -Create students to be able to understand the entire concept and they will learn -use this chart for all subject areas and with technology implementation
- Having the chart is great – but using it is key Teachers take this on their shoulders and need to apply this to their lessons Reach out to all students and create a positive learning environment This chart shows the circle of learning and how knowledge is shared Gives evidence for experiences and allows thoughts to be exchanged Promotion for technology and how it is used today Gives a vast amount of ownership to the students and allows them to share ideas and information
- None of this can happen without teachers -all the technology in the world but you need great teachers to teach it -Buy-in teachers and staff on board -Training for teachers and staff -examples of training ideas -How they work -who will benefit -why it is important -using technology is a two way street Teachers have to build their technology base and understand how to reach their students that is why training is so important.
