2. Photographer Ed Hetherington: black and white animal portraits
This series of pictures by Ed Hetherington captures the personalities of wild
safari animals - even though they look like they've been taken in a studio.
Shot in stunning black and white, the detailed portraits of lions, zebra, deer
and rhinos were taken over the space of four-and-a-half years.
Photographer Ed Hetherington, 34, from Georgia, USA took the portraits
whilst travelling throughout India and Africa.
3. Angry lioness on Chief's Island in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. She was angry because there was a fly buzzing around her face while she was trying to sleep. She was trying to bite
the fly but was unsuccessful. Mombo Island, Botswana.
23. Soaking Up the Morning Sun Portrait of a lioness basking in the first warm rays of the morning sun. Mombo Island - Okavango Delta, Botswana.
24. This is Solo - probably Africas most famous wild dog. Solo is famous because after losing her pack she created her own pack with the local jackals and hyenas. From what Ive heard
she hasnt been seen in a while but hopefully shell make a return.
