The Preclinical Imaging Research Laboratory (PIRL) at Georgetown University provides high-end preclinical imaging instrumentation and expertise to investigators studying cancer using animal models. PIRL offers MRI, fluorescence and bioluminescence imaging, ultrasound, and X-ray services, as well as training and assistance with imaging experiments, image analysis, and quantitative measurements. PIRL aims to support collaborative cancer research between investigators at Georgetown University and Howard University.
