            Contentment or so-called satisfaction has been undebatably the main
            inspiration of life struggle. The aim of education is to achieve the skills that
            make the life worth living and content. We always feel content in doing the
            things we like to. We never meet tiredness, fatigue, while toiling over the task of
            our own interest. The purpose of education is to discover the inborn interest of
            the child and develop them along their natural channels towards allied
            occupation so that the work itself should be the ever growing source of joy. At
            this stage the distinction between work and play vanishes and the work becomes
            real play. For this, it is essential to discover the inborn interest of the child and
            every opportunity should be conferred on it to flourish towards the real joy of
            meaningful life. The aim and the role of education is to provide the congenial
            atmosphere where the child itself looks for its own area of career and offer
            every possible opportunity to develop it with pouring loving care on it.
            The present education system hardly fulfils the conditions. The five hours based
            academic bookish system with present examination system has hardly any tools
            to map out the congenial area of career. Even the attitude behind taking
            education is to dog after to fulfill the needs

            As a renowned thinker Carlyle says ‘Blessed is he who has found his work. Let
            him ask no other blessedness’ . Napoleon quotes ‘Men take only their needs
            into consideration never their abilities’. The secret of success and satisfaction
            is in enhancing the abilities in the field in which one has inborn interest.

            ‘Gurukul, School to Career’ is the concept based on discovering the inborn
            interests of the child and developing them along their natural channels
            towards allied occupations.

            It is convenient to discuss some concepts in order to make the aim, way, and
            vision clear.

CONCEPTS: Gurukul believes to endeavors on nurturing the optimum
potentials in child with maximum possible natural channels.

                  E.Q., S.Q.]

              DISCOVERING THE INBORN
              INTERESTS
            To discover the work( the congenial occupational area of our life )that provides
            an ever growing source of joy or makes the life worth living It is essential to
            find ‘Why & What actually do I want and like to do? The answer
            reveals our inborn interest. According to the renowned thinker C.T.Philip,
            Normally human interests are classified in to five groups for the convenience of
            vocational outlet i.e. Intellectual, Practical, Social, Aesthetic and Athletic.
            Leisure pursuit i.e. Hobby and Creative classes can determine the area of
            interest. Their occupational outlets are shown in the following tree diagram.
            After the determination of a certain interest, opportunities must be offered to
            develop them towards allied occupations

STEPS FOR DETERMINING THE INBORN
INTERESTS
   HOBBY AND CREATIVE CLASSES

  The school should have five divisions of Hobby and Creative classes i.e.
  Intellectual, Practical Social, Aesthetic and Athletic along with and after their
  academic studies in case of regular school.

         Time: 1.30 to 2hrs. everyday :
         Period : 2-3yrs.(approx.)
         Observations, Data collection etc.
         Counseling, Aim formation, Follow up, Feed back
         Moral support, love.
         Focus on enhancing abilities and vision

  The process of determination of the interest is shown in the following tree
  diagram. The method is as follows:

  FIRST YEAR [std V]

      The student should have complete freedom to visit any section he thinks of
      The frequency, curiosity and observations should be noted
      No force should be practiced for a particular section
      The outcomes should only be discussed with parents avoiding any abrupt
       decision
      Excursions, Visit , Interview, Projects ,etc. should be planned and studied



  SECOND YEAR [std VI]

      The same process should be continued as the first year

              As per the academics at beginning of std.VIII the guidance, coaching should be
              started with follow up, feed back. For instance, if one has dominant interest in
              engineering, the coaching should be started from VIII . Gurukul provides all
              sorts of guidance, support to the students until after the achieving the goal.

From the very first day of the schedule of Std.VIII or at the age of 13 and 14

       Generally parents start caring for the career of their wards when they come to
       S.S.C .and start searching the scope that fulfill the needs rather than to abilities.
       The problems arise here. Aim is neither taken the needs and scope into
       considerations nor to be determined at and after the mark sheet of S.S.C.
       examination

       It is convenient to determine the goal of life before or at VIII. Planned
       guidance, follow up, feed back, experiments along with academic studies. The
       system where no time of academic is wasted (there should be no need to join
       private classes). The whole volume of the syllabus for the determined goal is
       split into the appropriate years. The relevant topics are studied with some other
       skills. Each day of the pupil is made hilarious, worthwhile with yoga, ,

             Warming up, Yoga, Meditation:             Gratitude towards parents, elders and
             motherland are of the prime importance and focused. To cultivate and inculcate
             the ideal behavioral patterns it is essential to exercise the above activities. Our
             special focus is to increase the power of concentration and memory and
             introspection instead of medicines and other outward aids

             Self Study: The students should have their own time to think, meditate and
             work. It provides them to know their reaches, abilities, limits to redouble their
             efforts and assimilate the knowledge.

             Academic Classes: Proper guidance(more than a private class offer) is given
             to the students so that he can make better study in the cost of just four hours a
             day. This is a great advantage because normally students have to join the
             classes for better preparation. We endeavor the best of our efforts not to feel the

             need of any extra guidance. The experienced faculty take all the care of their
             academic studies. Fruitful usage of time is practiced here.

Career Classes: The relevant part of academic syllabus related to competitive
   exam is split up and studied thoroughly. The dual and positive effect is seen into
   inculcating interest and increasing efficiency and potential. Moreover instead of
   studying on the eleventh hour it becomes enthusiastic to prepare in great detail
   right from the right beginning.



   Hobby and Creative Pursuit: It is a must to recreate the energy. Pursuit of
   hobby works like energizer that helps to sustain our attention, concentration
   towards the goal and the most important the in life to support in all
   circumstances of despair and struggle.

   Games and Sports: It is crystal clear to all the importance of games and
   sports. In gurukul it is focused to cultivate the sportsman spirit into the students
   that make them strong mentally as well as physically.

   Prayers and Introspections: The way to achieve faith, self insight, will
   power and increase abilities, potential is the prayer and introspections. The
   world can be conquered if one has faith, determination and perseverance,
   Prayers and Introspections lead us towards the infinite contentment



CONCORD OF SYLLABUS OF ACADEMIC & COMPETITIVE: FROM VIII TO
CAREER
  All career examinations are based and related on academic and general studies
  and hence obvious to be related with all academic. The part of academic
  syllabus that is relevant to career examination is studied in the time of career
  classes. The advantages of this class are as follows:

         Lessons are revised
         Concentration is increased as importance of study towards the aim is
         known
         Vision is broadened as the confidence boosts up
         Leisure pursuit is possible due to proper Time management
