Directions: Choose a favourite book that you’ve already read. Brainstorm how you could get
readers interested in the book without giving it all away. Don’t try and summarize the story, just
a few visual & fun ideas that will be intriguing or eye catching. Make sure at some point you
show the cover of the book and say the title –even if it’s for only 1 second.
Tech Tips: Remember, every time you touch the Vine screen, it stops & starts the action. Want
to film a stop action video? Go for it! Or, 3 clips of 3 seconds of action works quite well.
Expect to film this at least 3 times before you get the final one! Don’t forget to add hashtags to
the description! Ex: #VinerBookTrailers, #BookTrailers, or perhaps #SummerReading
