An overview of the Virtual Alaska project created as part of NOAA's virtual worlds program in cooperation with Aimee Weber Studios. A crab trawler simulation was created and training provided to various organizations in Alaska to assist in their entrance to using virtual worlds in the classroom. Finally other government virtual world activities were briefly covered.
