2. Since the end of the settlement freeze (Oct 2010 – July 2011) Construction rate in Israel proper – 1 housing unit per 235 residents Construction rate in the settlements – 1 housing unit per 123 residents Construction rate is almost 2 times higher in settlements then in Israel proper New Neighborhood in Kedumim 6/7/11

3. Since the end of the settlement freeze (Oct 2010-July 2011) : * 2,598 housing units have begun to be constructed in settlements * Ground works has been started to a further 317 housing units * Around 100 mobile homes have been added to various settlements and outposts * The construction of 2,149 new housing units was completed. * At least 3,700 units were under construction during the period from October 2010 till July 2011 = The freeze effects have been reversed completely New Neighborhood in Tkoa 8/6/11

4. 2/3 of the Construction is East of the Built-Up Barrier Only 33% of the construction (869 units) is west of the Separation Barrier 35% of the construction (903 units) are in the “finger” areas – were the barrier is planned yet not built 32% of the construction (826 units) is in isolated settlements, east of the planned barrier
