Illegal Immigration
I honestly don’t know exactly what I would do to fix the broken illegal immigration
system. I’m not that familiar with what exactly we can and can’t do, but it’s definitely a problem
as we are losing money to other countries. Maybe we could form a system where even if illegal
immigrants were sent to U.S. prisons, they would have to go through the immigration process.
We could make it to where they would complete all the requirements but would just do it while
in prison. Even though it would be a process and we would still lose money until it’s complete,
we would still save more money than we would if we didn’t have them go through the process.
Either that or we could make a deal with their own country and send them to their prison. We
could compromise that they have the same amount of jail time. This would help us because we
wouldn’t be losing any money by housing them in our own prisons here in the U.S. It is
definitely a difficult situation as our Constitution has many laws and rules that keep us from
making some of our decisions. There are so many laws that we can’t abuse which restricts us
from making a solution. Something needs to be done though because illegal immigration is
hurting our country and we need to figure out a way to fix it. We can’t keep putting it off and I
wish our government would make some decisions soon. They keep promising them and we
honestly need an answer.
