Henkel announced an agreement to acquire hair care brands from Procter & Gamble, including Blendax, Pert, and Shamtu, which are leaders in the entry-level price segment in Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The acquisition will solidify Henkel's market position in those regions and strengthen its portfolio of brands focused on consumers there, with the acquired brands generating $100 million in sales in 2015 alone.
