Looking back at your preliminary
task, what do you feel you have learnt in
the progression from it to the full
product?

2. I have learnt a variety of different things from looking back at the
preliminary task that was accomplished previously to the final media
product production.
These were the final products I created in my Preliminary task, the task was to
produce a front cover and contents page for a school magazine.

3. TIME MANAGMENT
Looking back at the prelim task I have
learnt how to make better use of my
time. In the previous task I think that my
time wasn't used to my full potential. I
hadn't organised the work load or made
a plan of when I was going to accomplish
tasks for the magazine. But I made sure
that in the main task for the front cover,
contents page and double page spread
that I made a schedule for when I was
going to do things. To the right of the
page is the production schedule that I
made, I stuck to this plan for my task and
arranged when I was going to take my
main photography. I have defiantly learnt
that it is a good idea to make and follow
a production schedule to accomplish
tasks on time.

4. LAYOUT & COMPOSITION
From the Prelim task I have learnt how to make a content page work better. In my
school magazine I didn't have a lot of content actually in the list on the pages.
This element is very important as it shows audience how much is inside the
magazine. In my main task I made sure that I added a lot more content rather
than in my previous task. I think from creating the school magazine I had more
knowledge of how a contents page should look and how much text is needed on
the page. I have learnt and now understand the main concept of a contents page.

The thing I have learnt most is to use a variety of
new technologies to present and show my work. In
my school magazine I had only used three different
technologies so looking back at the task before
creating the main task research I decided that I
would use a wider variety of technologies that I had
never used before. This new variety of software and
computer programmes make my work more
engaging for and audience looking at it
