event to launch the first section of the high speed channel
tunnel rail link. Held in four different locations (Marriott

WELSH ASSEMBLY GOVERNMENT
Brief: To provide 30 friendly meet and greet personnel
coach transfer hostesses and delegate movement
assistants. To cover 400 delegates Locations: Heathrow,
Gatwick, Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff Airports to Cardiff

hire of the Double Decker Bus to Roadshow sites throughout

Simply provided Spanish dancers to dance in city
centres across the UK along with distributors to hand out

Goody bag Distribution for 140 Store Nationwide as well
as ongoing store re-launches and Festive offers.
6. SAMPLING AND DISTRIBUTION
THE FINANCIAL NEWS
Teams distributed soup samples from large inflatable stands
positioned in ASDA car parks.
Approximately 18,000 samples were distributed during the event.
Outcome:
ASDA stores sold out of the soups on the days of the event and
there was a significant increase in sales in subsequent weeks.

THE FRIDAY DISTRIBUTION
The Daily Telegraph created a 'weekend‘ lifestyle paper in
Association with Gordon's Gin called “The Friday”. The weekly,
16-page, Tabloid Sized newspaper ran for 6 weeks and was
distributed by 165 staff nationwide.
Delivery key messages such as “Use the lime to make the
perfect G&T at home”
Distribution of 600,000 Papers with a 30,000 lime over a 6 week
period.

ST DAVIDS SHOPPING CENTRE OPENING
Simply provided Girls to distribute keys to the general public. The
keys opened boxes containing Prizes located at the shopping
centre.
The Team was fully trained to answer queries and help with the
new shopping centre enquires.

Sansa Experience Simply provided Event managers,
demonstrators, DJ and Break dancers to promote the new

To raise awareness of online betting shop Paddy Power prior to the Race Goers
Cheltenham Races- 100,000 Paddy Power Betting cards were distributed around
the racecourse.

Tongo Rugby – Distribution of Green Wigs Paris
Mobile teams also hit high density eating and drinking
establishments throughout Cheltenham to circulate the
remaining stock.
Paddy Power recorded a significant increase in online
betting accounts opened on both the day of the activity

GEORGE FASHION SHOWS AT ASDA
To add focus to the George brand and drive sales of George Autumn
collection.
Fashion shows, 3 per day at 25 Asda stores Nationwide. Simply
provided models and Fashion Advisors.
Sales increase was generated throughout Stores promoted.
SETON TUNING
Simply provided Grid Girls to support the Seton Tuning Super Bikes
Team during the British Super Bikes 2008.
Girls will be present at all of the 12 events across the UK acting as
hospitality support and Seton Brand Ambassadors.
The girls represent the team in all duties from meet and great to press
interviews.
PATAK’S MEDIA HIT SQUAD
Simply Provided Indian promotional models dressed in Bollywood
style clothing to assist Hit Squad targeting breakfast radio shows,
magazine, and websites based in central London. Hot deliveries
provide instant ‘talk ability’ for broadcast media and models
provide visual content for websites. The Team took a digital
camera so editorial teams at the websites can be photographed
with the models and the photos instantly upload for use.
A media ‘goodie bag’ containing a press pack and Patak’s
products was delivered by so that the journalists could cook the
contemporary recipes on the Diwali recipe release

THOMSON IPUNDIT
Teams distributed Z-cards to encourage punters to download
Iphone Application for Football World Cup.
SANEX NUDE STUNT
All major cities throughout the UK Experienced and tested
Sanex products. 5,000 samples distributed each day
Simply sourced 30 Dancers performed and rein acted the
Sanex television commercial. Performances to took place
every 10 minutes for five hours, whilst sample teams
distribute Sanex. 3 Month Roadshow
Samples of Sanex bath products were distributed
throughout the event.
UNILEVER HEALTH & BEAUTY ROADSHOW
Simply teams spent four days at each of the seven ASDA
supercentres across the UK, demonstrating a variety of
Unilever products including Dove hand cream, Sunsilk hair
care ranges and Vaseline creams.
Simply provided beauticians to give hand, shoulder and head
massages to customers shopping in ASDA supercentres.
Staff were briefed to discuss benefits of the products with
customers whilst carrying out the 5 minute massage.
Promotional goody bags were also distributed with a view to
creating brand awareness and increasing sales.
