they occur every four years within their
respective seasonal games.

an area that was very dilapidated and
poor. The grounds which would be
wasteland are now being regenerated.

9.  Most people think the employment is for
locals around the Olympics. But they
forget the people who are employed in
the lead up to it. The Olympics in London
are providing jobs for continuous 50,000
workers over a span of 7 years. In the
current economy that is a lot of stability.

must be world class. And as such, when
the Olympics goes away they can be
used by the locals to train for future

unemployment rate into the east London
area will shoot up once the construction
work is over

the Olympics or sport. Everyone in the
country is contributing their own little
piece and not everyone is happy. The
money being poured into the Olympics
and sport in some people eyes could be
better spent on the NHS or roads

appreciates the thousands of athletes and
hundreds of thousands of tourists coming
to the area, using their facilities and
dirtying their area
