Moses bid farewell to Israel by reminding them of the Law of God. He reviewed the Ten Commandments (Deut. 5:1-22). Then he went on to cover various ordinances of the Law (Deut. 6-26). He put before them a choice between life and death (Deut. 30:11-20). If they obeyed, there was life. If they disobeyed, there was death. The choice is that simple for us: life or death through obedience or disobedience. This lesson examines Moses’ words and makes application of these principles from the New Testament: (1) God’s command is for us; (2) God’s command is the difference between life/good and death/evil; (3) Choose life.
