Comparing similar characters in my film to a character from a well known film.

1. SIMILAR CHARACTERS
Cady Heron from Mean Girls
My Character

2. SIMILARITIES
 My main character represents Cady from Mean girls because
they have a lot of similarities. Both the characters get bullied at
school and struggle to make any friends. They often are alone
when at school and try to do what they think is right. They both
then join a different type of social group and start to experience
new things that they aren't comfortable with, but do these
things in order to fit in with the group.
 At the beginning of the film they both want to escape from their
life and go to a different surrounding so that they can be happy
and do things the way they want to.
 Both the characters then go back to their original self at the
end of the film so that they can lead a better life, as the one
they thought would benefit them more, turned out terribly.

3. COSTUME, HAIR AND MAKEUP
 Both of the characters don’t conform to the
stereotypical girly image at the beginning of the
movie. Instead they choose to wear jeans and
checked shirts of dull colours.
 My character wears makeup and has wavy hair with
a fringe. This character looks stereotypically more
depressed because of the way she styles her hair
and makeup.
 Cady Heron however at first doesn’t wear any
makeup and wears her hair in a simple pony tail.
This is unlike most of the girls in her school who
decide to wear makeup and style their hair in
various different ways.

4. DIFFERENCES
 My character leaves her school and her home so
that she can find a new surrounding that she will
hopefully be happy in. Whereas Cady stays at her
current location and makes friends that she can
have fun with and be comfortable around.
 My character doesn’t have any true friends that she
can turn to. Cady has friends in the middle of the
film that she can still talk to.
