Mariela Santoyo-Castanon was born in Denver, Colorado in September 1998. She grew up in Denver with her mother Maricela, father Jose Luis, and brothers Brian and Jose Luis Jr. As a child, Mariela enjoyed rodeos, visiting family in Mexico, hanging out with family and going to parties. She attended Maxwell Elementary School and has lived her whole life in Denver, though she traveled to Mexico for the first time last year. Mariela likes going out with friends and family, eating out, having fun at parties and rodeos, playing soccer and basketball, and watching movies. Her future plans are to go to college, have fun, buy a house for her parents, and have
