Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers,
There are some changes in the schedule of our activities. Kindly take note of the following revisions and
additional announcements:
1' Students will have special activities from August 31- September 2, 201"1" in celebration of the Hurnanities
Week. They will follow their official time in school and attend the required activities in lieu of regular classes.
Dengue uniform shall still be worn, except in activities where specific attires are required {such as house
color shirts and jogging/maong pants for the "Laro ng Lahi" on August 31), Be guided by instructions from
the Huma nities teachers.
2. In line with the school's pro-environment campaign, all students who eat in the canteen should bring their
own non-plastic spoon and fork, effective August 31,2011* This is part of the school's campaign against the
use of plastics. This shall also be enforced during the Humanities Week when students buy from food
concessionaires.
3. There will be a general rehearsal on August 26,zALt (Friday), 11:10-12:50 during the Universal Break for the
Recognition-Convocation Program. All students and homeroom advisers slrould be at the Gym.
4" There will be tree planting activities for 1" and
2no Years on September 2,zOJ.! {Friday). Attire: Batch Shirt
and jogging/maong pants. Other details to be announced by batch advisers.
5. Card-Giving/Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) shall still be on Septemb er 3, 20t1. (Saturday) but will be
from 9:00 AM- 12:00 NN.
6. The Management was informed by the PTA Executive Board that there will be no Family Day activities on the
morning of September 3, 2011. Family Day has been scheduled for Novernber L2, z}tt (Saturday; Znd
Quarter Card-G iving/PTC).
7. Alumni Homecoming shall be on September 3, 2011 {Saturday).
L Dorm Open House shall still be on September 4, 2011 (Sunday).
9. Recognition-Convocation Program shall be on September 5, 201-1 (Monday). All students are required to
attend. Students are required to wear TYPE B UNIFORM (boys: white polo, black pants, white/black socks,
and black leather shoes; girls: cream blouse, brown and white checkered skirt, knee-high socks, and black
leather shoes). Students are also rerninded to apply rnosquito repellants.
1.0. A new communications service, called the PSHS lnfoboard Broadcast Service, will take effect beginning
August 22,lOL1, This willenable those registered to receive announcements through the mobile phone free
of charge. See attached form for details.
