The idea of using Expert System originally
came from the need of Kenanaonline to
organize and manage knowledge published
by the community and facilitate the Access to
Knowledge.

Kenanaonline is a community web publishing
platform supported by ICT Trust Fund / MCIT.

Identify a workable model of building
 efficient Knowledge Bases for solving
    problems in specific knowledge
  domains through the use of Expert
               Systems.

Foundational Phase March – October 2012
• Literature Review
• Situational Analysis
• Selection of micro topics on which knowledge
  bases will be developed
• Selection of knowledge experts
• Develop Expert System Tools
• Develop partnerships
Project Plan
Pilot Phase ( December 2012 – January 2013 )
- Develop 3 Expert Systems
- Develop Self Paced multimedia training Material

Training Phase ( February – April 2013 )
• Conduct awareness and training workshops
• Training a group of experts on developing knowledge
  bases
• Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the
  knowledge bases.
• Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the
  Expert System Tool
Work Plan
- The level of effort required for the Pilot phase is
  from 10 to 15 days.
- The Domain Experts Hand on Training will be
  from 9 to 20 December.
- An individual schedule will be planned for each
  domain expert.
- Hand on Training will be conducted in groups
  based on the knowledge domain.
