The flooding caused extensive damage, including 30 deaths, 220 injuries, destruction of over 15,000 homes and damage to over 155,000 more. Agricultural crops and infrastructure were also heavily impacted. 3. The report summarizes needs for emergency food, shelter, education, and medium-to-long term support including home reconstruction, agriculture recovery, and disaster preparedness programs. International support is urged to assist victims.
