2. A galaxy is a massive collection of
star, gas, and dust. They gather together
with dust, gas, and other things in clusters
called galaxy. It’s made up of young star
along with lots of gas and dust. Galaxy have
different kind of shapes. There are three
shapes elliptical, irregular, and spiral.

galaxies are usually older than the

Irregular galaxies are smaller than
elliptical and spiral galaxies. The
shape of an irregular galaxy is
uncommon. Usually have lots of
gas and dust and young stars.
6. Spiral
Spiral galaxies are shaped like flattened disk.
Usually have one or more spiral arms. It has lots of
gas and dust and younger stars in their arms, but
older stars and little gas or dust. It made up of star
and gas. It have flat disk, spiral arms, central
bulge, and a surrounding. There is no dwarf spirals.
9. The Milky Way
It has about 200 billion stars, and lots of gas and dust.
It’s about 100,000 light-years wide.
A large group of stars outside of our own Milky Way.
Made of billions to trillions of stars.
