4. Purvi entered a competition for amateur fashion designers in 1993. Though she won the first prize, her designs were practically copied by the organizers to be mass-produced and very soon to be copied by others too. She could spot her designs on people whom she never knew.
5. The small episode planted a seed into Purvi’s mind in the form of a realization that what she was creating was not a pastime thing at all. Her design had an inherent potential of creating trends.
