The narrator gives birth to her third child, a boy named Eddison. While she loves all her children equally, she finds Eddison to be quite fussy and requiring a lot of attention. With her career goals and three young children, she relies heavily on help from her parents Parker and Caroline for childcare. However, they seem to dote most on her daughter Emily during babysitting. The narrator is happy her family is now complete with four children, though the extra workload of a fourth child has proven more challenging than expected.
