The document discusses ANCIL, a new curriculum developed at York St. John University to integrate information literacy into academic programs. It describes how ANCIL was used as an audit tool to map information literacy support across the university. The audit revealed many opportunities to improve collaboration between the library and other departments. As a result of the successful implementation of ANCIL, many partnerships were formed to better embed information literacy in teaching, learning, and the online environment. ANCIL provides a practical framework to develop students' research skills and information literacy.
