each school we draw a report for parents and
teachers in which we collect some conclusion
on the reaction and answer of the teens
during the lesson and how they can influence
in their character and lifestyles.
29. The opinion of teachers
• "It's a good way to get into the world
where many children don't have adult
models: the use of internet, the social
network, and also, the videogames which
are often unfamiliar to the adults".
30. • "I think it was a great opportunity to have participated
in the project Safe Social Media. It made the children
understand the dangers they are exposed to in using
the social media inappropriately. It also made them
assume certain risks with respect to their "privacy". It
allowed the teachers to see the children in a more
complete way, being an area unknown to the teachers,
and yet with a big influence on the children. It's a
world which frequently escapes us. I've seen many
boys unmotivated in class, absent- minded, and
sometimes, I dare say, hooked on these topics, and we
don't know how to handle the situation".
31. • “What has been appreciated very well is the
positive tone of the sessions, and the continued
reference and invitation to a dialogue between the
children and their parents and teachers. The
sessions made them see ICT as allies towards an
integral educational formation. Encouraging the
correct use of the social media permits the children
to discover, to develop and to grow in positive
values such as sense of responsibility, conscience,
maturity, solidarity, respect for others and
intimacy”.
32. The opinion of manangers
Francisco Ruiz, Family Safety Center, Google
33. The opinion of manangers
• Sergio Chiarla sottolinea che la “chiave per una
formazione equilibrata è che i genitori giochino con i
figli. Nel gioco, i nostri figli ci mostrano e
condividono valori e atteggiamenti che noi come
genitori abbiamo bisogno di conoscere per orientarli
meglio”.
Sergio Chiarla, trainer of Safe Social Media
