)

because he won a lot of awards and he is
very important in television, theatre and

4. “Coki” Ramirez (1980)
She is a singer, but she is an actress
and model too. She started working
with Alberto Plaza. In 2007 she
published her first album ‘’Presente’’.
Then she worked with some artists like
Fito Paez. She became famous in
‘Showmatch’ in 2010 when she was
invited. In 2011 she was in ‘’Bailando
por un Sueño” and she was one of the
finalists. In 2012 she published her
second album ‘’Se Puede’’. She is
important because she is a great singer

5. Marcelo Tinelli
(1960) He is a presenter, businessman
and radio producer. He is the
creator and president of “Ideas
del Sur’’. He helped and
collaborated to a create a lot of
series and soap operas like
“Patito Feo” “Los Roldan”
among others. He is important
because he helps and
collaborates with places for
disabled people.
6. Moria Casan (1946)
She is a famous ‘vedette’, actress and
producer. She is one of the most well
known women of Argentinian
entertainment. She is considered the
greatest ‘vedette’ of Argentina. She
led a remarkable success in
Corrientes, Mar del Plata, and Villa
Carlos Paz years ago. She is important
because she is sincere and she does
not care what people think of her and
for her successful artistic career.
7. Alberto Olmedo (1933-
1988) He was known like ‘’El Negro
Olmedo’’. He was an actor and
comedian, considered as one of the
‘’capocomicos’’ more important in the
history of entertainment of our
country, because of his salient work in
television, cinema and theatre. His
most popular characters were
‘’Petete Garcia’’ ‘’El Lobo’’ ‘’El
Dictador de Costa Pobre‘’ among
others. His more well known phrases
were ‘’Y Si No Me Tienen Fé’’ ‘’¡De
Acaaaaaaaaa!’’ among others. He is
important because he was a great
actor, comedian and artist.
8. Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986)
He was an Argentine writer, one of
the authors more featured of the
literature. He published short
essays, stories, and poems. His
books were fundamental in
literature and the universal
thought. His stories were ‘’Historia
Universal de la Infamia ‘’ ‘’La viuda
Ching, pirata” among others. He is
important because he was a big
writer for our country.
9. Ernesto Sabato (1911- 2011)
He was an important
writer, physics and painter. He
wrote three novels and
countless works about the
human condition. Some of
them are ‘’El Escritor y sus
Fantasmas’’ ‘’Hombres y
Engranajes’’ among others.
He is important because he
wrote relevant things for
Argentine literature.
10. René Favaloro (1923-
2000) He was a prestigious doctor
globally and internationally
recognized because he was the
first person who performed the
heart bypass. He studied medicine
in La Plata University. At the end
of the 1960 he started studying a
new technique. At the beginning
of the 1970 he founded the
foundation which has his name.
He is important because he
implemented important new
medical techniques.
11. Graciela Alfano (1952)
She is an actress, model and
‘vedette’. She appeared in
some advertisements for
''Jabon LUX'‘or ''Claro'' among
others. She took part in
shows and movies and she
was on the television, too.
She is important because she
is one the most important
‘vedettes’ of Argentina.
